Operations director

The Operations Director will work closely with the Operations staff, other departments, and servant leaders to bring leadership and oversight to the following areas: Facilities, HR, Finance, Safety, and Legal/Compliance. This position reports to the Executive Pastor at One Church and has all direct reports in the Operations Dept. They will advance the gospel by developing teams and leaders that help support One Church's structure and organizational systems.

Top 3 Job Duties

  • Department Oversight

    • Lead weekly 1-on-1s with direct reports, Tacticals, and ministry meetings.

    • Directly lead the areas of finance, facilities, HR, legal and safety team

    • Ensure direct Reports are meeting professional goals and ministry metric goals with SZNal Check-ins and Weekly/Bi-weekly TB’s.

  • Organizational Systems

    • Ensure the church is in compliance with church bylaws and governance structure.

    • Provide budget templates and day-to-day support to departments regarding budgetary decisions.

    • Implementing new and effective HR recruiting, hiring, and onboarding strategies.

  • Facility Management

    • Maintaining excellence of One Church campus via staff, contractors, and vendors with 1 x / SZN work day.

    • Managing safety, inventory, and storage of One Church equipment and property.

    • Support Operations coordinator in maintaining office, IT, and administrative infrastructure.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes.

  • Ensuring One Church and employees follow all laws, regulations, standards, and ethical practices in the staff handbook.

  • Monitor and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations.

  • Help lead and support staff-related activities such as All Staff, VDT, Members Mtgs, and Thursday morning meetings.

  • Adhere to the church policies and standards, and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed
