Next gen coordinator

Do you believe in kids and students and want to help them fulfill their God-given purpose and potential? Are you willing to work hard, be present, and build relationships with them? If so, our Next Gen Coordinator might be the perfect role for you. We’re looking for someone to support both One Kids (Birth-5th Grade) and One YTH (6th-12th Grade) by being present at services and events, helping to recruit and care for servant leaders, and doing a good bit of “behind-the-scenes work such as scheduling, event planning, and picking up supplies. 

Top 3 Job Duties

  • Support One Kids

    • Be present on the weekends to support One Kids services.

    • Ensure upkeep and cleanliness of toys, supplies and make necessary purchases weekly.

    • Create and maintain a system of training for Youth Servant Leaders who serve in One Kids.

  • Support One Yth

    • Be present at One YTH service to assist with set-up/tear-down, leads Groups, and interact with students.

    • Create and maintain a system of follow-up for first-time students.

    • Assist in the execution of Sunday Cool.

  • Next Gen Admin

    • Input key metrics into Next Gen Dashboard weekly.

    • Manage Next Gen budget and calendar.

    • Work w/ ministries to schedule event childcare.

    • Manage workflows for One Kids and One YTH as needed.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Attend all One Church, Departmental and Ministry meetings (Tactical, CREW, Staff Chapel) weekly.

  • Participate in all One Church staff events and trainings (All Staff, Christmas Party) 

  • Attend weekly Touch Base with Next Gen Director. The frequency will be reevaluated seasonally.

Role qualifications:

  • Exhibit a personal and growing relationship with God.

  • General knowledge of creative industry terms and tools. If you don’t know what a shot list is or how to open a .PSD file, this probably isn’t the job for you.

  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, have excellent judgment and the ability to prioritize projects.

  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to make complex things simple.

  • Be impeccably organized and even annoyed when things are done late.

  • Care about how things look and feel.

  • Excellent relational skills that will allow you to work with people across departments as well as nurture relationships with contractors.

  • Be a non-anxious presence in the midst of a fast-paced department with multiple plates spinning at once. That isn’t to say that you won’t be stressed; you just wear it well.

  • Highly resourceful, collaborative team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, plan, prioritize and organize tasks and resources to effectively meet deadlines and achieve specific results while keeping focus on the mission at hand.

  • Asana (or similar project management systems)

  • Adobe Suite (Entry Level)

  • Google Suite (Docs, Forms, Sheets, Drive, Slides Calendar, Gmail)
