"I am in enneagram 8. I’m very headstrong and independent and love taking the lead. Coming into this internship, I’ve already been in leadership, so half of me thought, “What could they teach me that I don’t already know?”. Through the internship, I lost my grandmother and got really sick, and I got the chance to lean on my peers. I didn’t have to pretend I had it all together. Although this internship taught me great practical things, the lesson I take with me is that it’s ok to ask for help and not have it all together. Community is important, I don’t have to go through things alone."
