Why you Should Join a Group

Next is Now is a three-year generosity campaign to pave the way for the future at One Church and for generations to come. Our mission is to make room for God's Kingdom to expand here on our campus and ultimately to the ends of the earth. We believe that God has called us to pick up the baton and run our leg of the race.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do Groups sessions last?

Our Groups seasons take place three times a year and will last 12 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks. However, Group leaders are always welcome to extend their meeting schedules past the season schedule depending on group members’ preference.

What kinds of groups are there?

We have several different types of groups for different ages and stages of life. This includes groups for Men, Women, Co-Ed, Couples, Online, Care, and Freedom groups.

Can I try multiple groups?

Of course! Our goal is for you to find the right group that you can call home. Often times, this could mean trying more than one group to ensure the right fit. Each seasons window provides great opportunities for on and off ramps in our groups.

Is childcare provided?

We do offer childcare for a small weekly fee for some of our groups on campus! Every group that provides childcare will will be listed as providing childcare. However, if you are unsure we encourage you to contact your group leader and determine if it will be provided.

Are Groups meeting in person?

Yes! We have Groups meeting in person, online via video conference, and hybrid. Be sure to check the Group description to find a group that fits you best. Please also feel free to reach out to the Group Leader if you have any questions regarding meeting location.

What if I would like to lead a group?

If you would like to lead a group, we encourage you to start by praying about who God would lead you to start your group with. Groups exist to PRAY, GROW, and SERVE together, and we recommend all groups to start with a co-leader. The best way to find a group is to start one! Click the Lead A Group link for next steps!

What Are Freedom Groups?

Freedom Groups gather weekly to discuss the Freedom Group curriculum, which is designed to equip you to live the victorious and abundant life Christ came to give you. Freedom Groups build on the foundation of your faith in Christ to help you embrace the truth of God’s Word as it relates to your worldview, your past, your identity, your personal value to God, and your purpose in His Kingdom. This group will help you remove every obstacle to intimacy with God and help you to walk in true freedom.

The Freedom Curriculum focuses on six areas of personal growth:

01

Living in the "Tree of Life"

God never wanted us to pursue dead religion, rather His heart is for us to know Him personally and live in our true identity as His children. You will learn what it means to live in the “Tree of Life” and how a simple but powerful perspective shift can impact every area of your life.
02

Walking in the Spirit

The Bible talks about the Spirit-led life, but this kind of living can feel hard to reach. Through Freedom, you will learn the principles of spiritual order and how feeding your spirit over your emotions and flesh is key to walking in the Spirit.
03

Surrendering to Jesus

God calls us to love and serve Him above all else, and when we do, we see how we can grow in our purpose, live forgiven and forgive others, and receive His blessings. Freedom will help you learn how to surrender to Jesus and live in freedom daily.
04

Speaking Words of Life

Our words have power, and by learning to speak words of life that line up with God’s Word, your words can change your environment and relationships and break the power of the enemy’s words in your life.
05

Becoming a Vessel God Can Use

God has a unique plan and purpose for our lives, but we also have an enemy who is trying to keep us from fulfilling this purpose. In your Freedom Group, you will learn how to stand in the authority of Jesus to overcome sin and the enemy’s schemes as you allow God to use your life for His glory.
06

Living in the "Tree of Life"

We all worship something. Freedom will help you learn how to daily direct your worship to God and discover how it can influence the heart of everything you do.

Freedom Conference

The Freedom Conference is designed for those who are currently attending a Freedom Group or anyone who has participated in a Freedom Group in the past.

The Conference is a two-day fuel-packed time designed for those seeking an atmosphere where they can tune in to all that God has in store. The conference sets an atmosphere for healing, breakthrough, and life transformation.
