_______________

My Confidence doesn’t come from what I feel.

It comes from what I know.

[Hebrews 11:1]

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

[Philippians 1:6]

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

[I John 5:14]

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

[James 5:16]

…The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

_______________

Prayer is productive because it aligns us with our heavenly father.

_______________

The point of prayer is not to get God to do what I want Him to do. It’s for me to understand what He wants me to do.

_______________

[Luke 22:39-42]

He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, 42 “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”

[Luke 22:49-51]

When the other disciples saw what was about to happen, they exclaimed, “Lord, should we fight? We brought the swords!” 50 And one of them struck at the high priest’s slave, slashing off his right ear. 51 But Jesus said, “No more of this.” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him.

_______________

In chaotic times we don’t want to over react or under react. We want to walk in the Spirit.

_______________

Just because you have some good points doesn’t mean you should go around stabbing people with them.

_______________

[John 20:19]

That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said. 20 As he spoke, he showed them the wounds in his hands and his side. They were filled with joy when they saw the Lord!
