Audio director - part time
The Audio Director will oversee both the Front of House and Broadcast audio experiences of One Church. They will work with the Production Director to establish a consistency of sound for our church and equip all Servant Leaders to adhere to that standard. They will always be asking the question, “How can we make this sound better?” They will be the foremost expert on all things audio.
Top 3 Job Duties
Front of House Audio
Run FOH audio 2-3x/Month
Recruit and equip a team of 2-4 Servant Leaders to run FOH.
Weekend prepped by EOD Thursday, including stage set-up, microphone and input management, in-ear monitor system organization and management.
Broadcast Audio
Run Broadcast audio 1-2x/Month
Recruit and equip a team of 2-4 Servant Leaders to run Broadcast Audio.
Deliver weekly sermon audio for TV within 1 week of capture.
Team and System Development
Update and maintain role descriptions for all audio Servant Leaders.
Update and maintain checklists for audio processes.
Additional Responsibilities
Attend One Church, Departmental, and Ministry meetings as determined by Production Director.
Participate in One Church staff events and trainings (All Staff, Christmas Party, Brunch and Learns)
Attend Touch Base with Production Director. Frequency will be reevaluated seasonally.
Role qualifications:
Exhibit a personal and growing relationship with God.
Minimum of 5 years experience and proficiency in mixing audio (live and broadcast)
Proficiency in ProTools mixing, editing, and music editing.
Experience as a musician and/or vocalist preferred, but not required.
Ability to collaborate well with others, namely the Production Director and Worship Pastor, and work in a team environment.
Strong knowledge of industry standards, vocabulary and hardware/software.
A teachable spirit that can give and receive critical feedback well.
An ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining One Church values and cultural behaviors.
