What to Expect

One Church Guests

Have you ever decided not go to a new place or event because you weren’t sure what to expect? Have you ever foregone opportunities in order to keep the status quo because, frankly, you just don’t want to deal with it right now? I know I have. In fact, I’m sure we all have. Complacency often leads to stagnancy in areas of our lives that we’d rather not see it take place. Do you ever feel as if you try and try, yet still don’t feel as if you’re gaining ground? Or perhaps life is smooth at the moment; the bills are paid, you’ve planned a vacation, and the new season premiere of your favorite show is starting next week, and yet…something is missing?

Society tells us that nothing is ever good enough, and we must keep pushing forward to the next goal, and the next, and the next, into a perpetual state of consumption of mind, body, and soul, until you’ve reached a place of exhaustion. Society is right in the fact that we as people should always push ahead, but they’re skewed in their perception of what may or may not be ‘good enough.’ Jesus is good enough. He is more than enough.

All He wants is a relationship with you.

At One Church We Are All As Equals

We always think we have time to do the things we intend to. We set a mental ‘to do’ list, and going to church is often on that list. If it is, One Church could be the place for you. One will never know unless one tries One Church. I was once a guest with all the above-mentioned reservations and had every excuse to not make time. One day I decided to step out, and was greeted with open arms by the most humble, hardworking, and loving group of people I’ve ever met. There was no turning back at that point. As a guest here, you will find One Church with One Family carrying One Message.

One Church is for all. Each person has their own story to tell. Each person has successes to share, and failures that they bare. But upon entering One Church we are all as equals in the sight of God, and we welcome the diversity. As you enter the parking area to find a spot, you will be greeted by members of the church in the lot directing you to a place near the doors. You will then be welcomed and told about our facility. You can talk as little or as much as you’d like. At this church, you will find a place where you can tailor the church experience to your liking. It is a place where the music is inspiring, where kids have a place to learn at their level, where diversity is encouraged and ideas are exchanged, as well as a place where one can express and use their gifts.

There is a place for you.

Through Jesus, We Are All Family

One Church is made up of One Family. Some have been here for years, some for a short while, and others are brand new just like yourself. As in any family, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been a part of it; family is family. You will be welcomed as if we have known you all our lives, because, through Jesus, we are all family.

One Message is conveyed. The message of Jesus. There is never a question that biblical teachings are upheld. However, our family does like to get rowdy. The music is vivid, and the messages are captivating. There is no question that there is love in this building, We would love for you to be a part of it, and perhaps one day you will say that One Church is My Church, My Family carrying My Message.

Stay blessed, much love.
